Stomach Pain

Stomach Pain is a common syndrome involving injury to gastric mucosa and decreased ability for gastrointestinal peristalsis due to improper diet of uncooked or cold food or disharmony between liver and stomach, with manifestations of fullness and oppressive pain of the stomach as well as reduced appetite and is often observed among patients who love tobacco and liquor and stressed and elderly patients. It pertains to the category of “stomachache” in Traditional Chinese Medicine. As for Western Medicine, it is often observed in diseases such as atrophy of gastric mucosa, erosive (mild, moderate, severe) superficial gastritis, etc.
